Iohanna is a young multidisciplinary designer and curator. She was born in Argentina, but lived and studied the past years in Israel. Now she is living and working between Tel Aviv and Berlin.

After graduating from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design she worked as an exhibition designer and curator assistant for the Israel Museum as well as for other institutions like The Academy of Science and The National Library. She has received the Polonsky Best Design Prize for her research and did lectures in different cities in Europe and Israel. Her work was published in recognized international blogs magazines and books.

Iohanna has a sensitive understanding of the interaction between objects, space and human beings. She believes in endless possibilities of expression, exploring, and experimenting with new techniques, materials and creation processes. She has a passion for writing and research in art and design from historical changes to contemporary culture and trends. With a great power of association that allows her to jump from details to bigger scales, she creates exhibitions that encourage open-ended dialogues between artworks, context and audience. She is particularly interested in process and sees exhibitions as texts to express and reflect her ideas.
